Empowerment the measure of self determination and autonomy that you experience as an individual. This can be determined by a lot of things. Coming from a background in the evangelical church, we’ve had to re-learn a lot of things about empowerment and personal autonomy, especially regarding woman and their bodies. One reason that shooting boudoir has been so fulfilling for us has been the ability to turn the tables on traditional narratives about women, their bodies, and their roles in society.
